It offers excellent insulation against medium- and high-frequency sounds
It is a composite product comprised of two layers: a thin sheet of heavyweight EPDM lined on one side with a thicker layer of felt with a density of 60 Kg/m3 made from textile fibers bound with synthetic resins
The different densities of the sheet and felt allow for optimum sound damping
The so-called “spring effect” is achieved, deadening noise
Its burning rate in a horizontal position is < 100 mm/min
Placing PR 3.5 on the noise-emitting side of a brick wall with a thickness of 5 cm yields a sound damping value of 36.8 dB
PR 3.5 is ideal for insulating exterior walls and the interior of plasterboard drywall structures. When used here, it absorbs the drum effect of the spaces inside walls
