  MAP101 is designed to deliver high-fidelity music in any room in a home or small commercial space.
Since only one unit is used to playback stereo audio, connection is very simple and no acoustic setup is required. The combination of a wooden enclosure and 1mm piano finish gives a very clear and solid tone. Corners and edges are rounded to reduce diffraction.
Unlike most bookshelf speakers with rear-ported waveguide, MAP101 uses a downward reflector so that it does not depend on proximity to a wall for reflected bass. The aluminum stand provides clearance needed to minimizes unwanted reflective wave. MAP101 can be placed on a desk, on a book shelf, on a kitchen counter, or by a couch easily.
An audiophile-quality Burr-Brown USBDAC handles digital audio streaming from personal computers. Analog signals can be fed into MAP101 via the 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input. The built-in downmixing, active cross-over network, and two HiFi-grade Class-D amplifiers form Bi-amp configuration often appears in hi-end HiFi systems.
